I am not a “political guy” and believe government should work for the people. This new opportunity to become a Mt. Lebanon Commissioner, to me, means service to the people of our community. Lebo needs that service to bring back some aspects that have started to be lost and create the best environment for our families and small businesses.

I'm Josh Elliott and I'm running to be your, Ward 5, Mt. Lebanon Commissioner. I've knocked on many of your doors, had conversations with you when I'm at events (most started when you stopped to see my dog, Karen!) and I hear the same things - why was Washington Rd such a mess for so long? how much is the new garbage contract going to raise my taxes? why are our facilities (the firearms range, the rec center ice rink) in disrepair and failing? My opponent has been your commissioner for the last 4 years and has presided over all of these problems and more...and failed. He is focused on bringing bike lanes to Bower Hill and Washington Roads, adding green initiatives that aren't good fits for our community, and in furthering his political career. Why vote for me? Because I am running for you. I am running to use my project planning and construction background to give the Commission the knowledge base they are lacking to help our municipality build and grow. Let's plan and execute strong development, do our due diligence on initiatives that work and use our tax dollars wisely to help Mt. Lebanon be the best it can be.
